Recent developments in chemical reaction engineering towards sustainable processes involve waste minimization, efficient use of alternative energy sources-raw materials and process intensification. Development of environmentally benign processes and products is the key factor in sustainable chemistry.
In relation to waste removal, a review of our recent studies on development of mixed metal oxide sorbents and catalysts for the removal and selective oxidation of hydrogen sulfide will be presented in this seminar.
