ABSTRACT

Many elements of graduate study are governed by policy and procedures; familiarity with these can have a significant influence as to whether the graduate study path is smooth, bumpy, or in some cases, precipitous.  This seminar will provide an overview of university and departmental graduate policy and procedures.  A wide range of issues will be covered, including graduate course selection constraints, comprehensive examinations, academic integrity, etc.  Graduate student attendance is compulsory.
