ABSTRACT

Julie McLachlan, M. Eng (Chemical Engineering McMaster) will discuss her work experiences as a Process Engineer at Domino Sugar, Owens Corning, Nalco and Invista on the path to becoming Director, Laboratory Services at GreenCentre Canada.

GreenCentre Canada (GCC) is an all-inclusive commercialization facility that develops, de-risks and commercializes early stage Green Chemistry discoveries generated by academic research institutions and/or industry.

Julie will discuss the GreenCentre Canada model, discuss capabilities and provide examples of some of the exciting projects that are currently being commercialized.
